SR-20C Point-to-Point Radiotelephone Link

TelePoint’s SR-20C is a UHF/VHF single-line point-to-point radiotelephone link designed to provide affordable yet high-quality telephone service to rural subscribers. It acts as a full-duplex line extender providing telephone, fax, and internet service to locations difficult or impossible to access by wire lines. Examples include offshore platforms, islands, mountainous areas, and farmlands. A system consists of two units, Base and Subscriber.

The Base unit is typically located where a CO (exchange) line is available. The Subscriber unit is located a long distance away where phone, fax, or modem service is needed. Antennas are connected to both units to establish a radio link between them.
