SR-20
SR-20 Single Channel Point-to-Point
SR-20 FOR WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY
The SR-20 is a complete radio telephone system consisting of a base station and a subscriber terminal. A telephone exchange line interface is integrated into the base station while the subscriber terminal is equipped to provide all functions of a central office subscriber line. The system, when connected between a conventional C.O. trunk line or a PABX station line and a remote site, will provide fully transparent service to standard telephone instruments connected to the subscriber station. All class service and features available at the base station end will be available at the subscriber terminal. In addition, an intercom circuit provides full duplex selective communications between the base and subscriber terminal.

Synthesized and field programmable
The SR-20 is fully programmable, giving you the flexibility to change the operating frequencies or other operating features as required.
RF power level versatility, field programmable
Choose a model in VHF or UHF. Whether it is indoor or outdoor, urban or rural, short or long range for voice, fax, or 14.4 Kbps data transmission, SR-20 systems are available in many configurations with programmable RF power control 1-10, 5-20, 15-35, and 30-50 watts operating in 30-50, 136-174, and 403-520 MHz band.
Extended duty cycle operation
Keeping in mind that your business depends on solid, smooth, and efficient communication, TelePoint has designed the SR-20 with 100% duty cycle provisions at any power setting.
Local or wide area operation
The SR-20 offers maximum wide area coverage because of its Motorola high sensitivity receiver. However, in some congested urban areas, high sensitivity results in the reception of interfering signals from numerous sources such as high power TV and paging stations. For these situations, the sensitivity can be programmed to local operation. This means the receiver will have additional interference protection. If the user requires wide area coverage instead of local area coverage on that same frequency, another channel location can be used to program that frequency for normal operation.
Wide band Frequency separation
Wide bandwidth allows the addition or changing of frequencies anywhere within the radio’s operating band without compromising clarity or performance.
Privacy & Protection
38 programmable CTCSS and DTMF encoding/decoding is incorporated into the design providing infinite levels of security and privacy preventing false ringing and unauthorized use of the telephone line.
System status LED’s
SR-20 front panel LED’s provide system operational status.
Electrical protection
Reverse polarity, faulty antenna, and telephone line lightning protection are standard features.

Audio clarity
Absolute superior audio quality is produced by an audio compressor and expandor with unrestricted dynamic range. The compressor on the transmission end of the system compresses the audio to the available band width. On the receiving end of the system, the expandor expands the audio back to the original level, eliminating any noise picked up during transmission.
